Appreccia D. Faulkner

Appreccia D. Faulkner is a resident of Chicago who graduated from Kennedy-King College with her Associates and later attended George Washington University and Chicago State University to study Political Science and International Affairs. Ms. Faulkner is the founder of Global Strategists Association (GSA), an organization dedicated to increasing understanding and participation in global affairs; expanding leadership potential; and political engagement among African-Americans. GSA hosts events dedicated to increasing dialogue and engaging thought leaders on today’s most pressing issues. 

Appreccia loves to volunteer and currently serves on the board of Kids off The Block a youth-based organization that works with at-risk youth to offer alternatives to gangs and drugs. The organization was started by her Mom, Diane Latiker, a 2011 Top 10 CNN Heroes finalist.
